The new world of globalism is closing in on everyone. It’s tentacles are particularly odious to those who wish to live traditional lives. What are we facing in regard to current clashes of culture and worldview? Is there hope to understand and overcome the enemies of the Christian traditions of the Western world?
Michael Kinsella, PhD joins me to discuss the various challenges we face on either side of the Atlantic. We talk economics, church life, the survival of the family, and beyond.
Michael teaches ethics in University College Dublin and is Director of Research at Aid to the Church in Need Ireland. You can see his academic profile at http://ucd.academia.edu/MichaelKinsella
Ever heard of the black pill? If you take the black pill, that means you’ve come to the conclusion that Western civilization is doomed, all goodness in the world is being defeated, and there is no future for humanity.
The black pill is symbolic of hopelessness, and many days it sits right on our nightstands, tempting us to pop it before we get out of bed.
Let’s face it, the current world order is coming to an end. So many bad things are happening at once no one can keep up with it all. Communities of Christians in the Middle East who have lived and worshiped there for almost 2,000 years are being bombed and chased out of their homes, Europe is being overrun by the twin cancers of progressivism and Islam, and everywhere it seems a hero has come, he turns out to be a failure and a compromiser.
Is there any hope? Spit out the black pill. Adam could’ve gone on for hours with this episode, but he kept it as short as possible given the huge scale of the topic. Take heart, listen in, and support the show if you appreciate content like this.
From the show: Eastern Orthodox sing the Our Father in Aramaic (the language of Jesus that is still spoken by some Christians in the Middle East).
Egypt Coptic churches bombed
Jesus Christ beat death. He was swallowed by it, but He forced it to open its mouth and vomit Him out – and He broke its teeth on the way out for all who trust in Him and repent of their sins.
Adam reflects on a place he often thinks about when the chaos and complexity of this life threatens to upend his faith.
In this episode Adam makes his central belief as clear as possible. If he is right, then absolutely everything depends on this. If wrong, then LOL nothing matters.
Challenge yourself, stretch your thinking with this episode. If God has spoken, is there any higher form of authority in existence?
It’s this foundation of truth and knowledge on which Adam will build all of his other episodes.
Thanks for listening!
We have to take control of our thoughts by focusing on the center of reality. The digital sea of information, the news cycle, our own problems, emotions, hobbies, and schedules have us in mental crisis as a culture. We need to learn to control and reset our mental state. We need to meditate. Do you know how to meditate on the center of reality?
In this show Adam gives some historical background of the Greek world. In that time, people scattered their thoughts across a spectrum of gods and divine beings who all brought different degrees of truth to humanity, but one writer blew all of that away by offering a singular point of spiritual contact between heaven and earth.

Could you be in the matrix? Are you just the dream of some giant asleep under the table in another universe? Are your religious convictions just delusions? How do you know you know? Adam offers the rock that is solid enough for all knowledge and truth.
The Citizen of New Jerusalem is all about reviving Western civilization, and to do so, we all need to ask and answer some big questions.

For our very first episode of The Citizen of New Jerusalem Podcast, Adam discusses the two great spiritual headquarters of the world and their longstanding relationship to one another. To which one do you belong?
To be a citizen of the New Jerusalem is to have access to a kind of wisdom that is hidden from the world. This episode will set the tone for all other episodes to follow, so it’s important to hear this one!

Most of my best learning over the past five years has come by trying out all kinds of podcasts. Like many before me, I’ve decided to give it a shot myself. The work to get there is pretty detailed and technical – so it may take me a bit of time to launch, but I’m working hard on it. It’s brewing.
What’ll it Be?
The CoNJP is going to be a man swinging a sword and an axe, aiming for the heart of darkness and the roots of evil in our world. Like you all, I’m watching Western civilization descend into a black hole of moral anarchy, and I’m not going to sit idly by as she goes.
I believe there is a future for the West, and I want to invest in it. 3,000 years of our history is not about to go up in flames because of an army of Social Justice Warriors griping and screaming in the streets. We traditionalists (of all stripes) must realize we are powerful, possessing old, sharp weapons of warfare that bring down devilish strongholds.
So the podcast is going to be the Christian worldview and philosophy, applied to untying the Gordian knots of our day. My Twitter can give you a good snapshot of my brand of reactionary thinking.
I will have guests from differing perspectives, I’ll address relationships, education, military issues, ethics, arts, sports, entertainment, and anything else I get my mind around. Read a couple weeks’ worth of my tweets for more detailed flavoring.
